About this app

Joystick Mouse Adapter 2 allows you to convert your controller inputs into mouse inputs (or touch screen inputs). This controller mapper allows you to map the joysticks into mouse inputs and more. You can move the Mouse Cursor with the joysticks. Perform clicks, swipes, pinch-to-zoom gestures all with a game controller and your Android device!

▶ Features

Move the Mouse Cursor with the left joystick, right joystick, or d-pad. This includes various methods of cursor movement: (1) Smooth continuous movement as the primary option, (2) Quick movement by pinning coordinates on the screen that you can "snap" to in an instance, (3) Teleport movement using the joysticks allows you to jump anywhere on the screen without waiting for the mouse to travel and without putting any pins.

Customize the Mouse cursor: (1) Cursor style, (2) Cursor size, (3) Cursor color. Additionally a cursor style may have its own unique cursor animations.

Perform menu based actions with the Radial Menu and Cross Menu. For example, the Radial Menu has controls to change the system volume and system brightness. The Cross Menu can perform a variety of actions as well. The difference is the Radial Menu controls are based on joystick controls, while the Cross Menu controls are based on d-pad controls.

Customize the Radial Menu and Cross Menu: (1) Menu style, (2) Menu size, (3) Menu color.

Buttons can be remapped. You can customize your mouse controls based on your needs. Swap controls around to your liking if the default controls do not suit your needs.

This app comes with a free gamepad tester and a dead zones detector for your joysticks.

There are many other features that are not listed here, but you can explore more in the app. Many other upcoming features are coming soon!

▶ Things You Can Do

• Use it in your games. Remap touch-only game controls to your game controller. Play it like a game that supports the Mouse cursor.

• Control your docked device that you are screen casting or chrome casting to your TV. You don't have to access your Android tablet, just connect a game control and you can treat your device like an Android-based TV streaming box.

• Increase accessibility of your device. Remap your controller to operate your device however it suits your needs.

• Recommended for point and click games, and any games designed for the Mouse or touch screen. Except you get to use your controller instead of your Mouse.

▶ In Development

• Coming soon: macros and automations! We are working on features and functions to make the controller perform actions that you program in order to make your life easier! Perform repetitive tasks with the click of a button!

• Coming soon: remap your physical keyboard controls! We want to let you control your device how you see fit, not just with the gamepad but also with your keyboard devices. This will work with USB-C connected keyboards, wireless keyboards, and devices with the keyboard built-in!

• Coming soon: virtual gamepad! Remap to not just the mouse, but to on-screen game controls. Currently, you can specify coordinates on the screen to perform taps. But we are going to add additional gestures to mimic other controls such as on-screen joysticks and D-pads.

▶ Accessibility Service Permission is Required

Joystick Mouse Adapter 2 requires the Accessibility Permission to function. The service allows the app to observe your inputs, including touch, keyboard, and controller input. This is required to process your inputs to control the Mouse.

The Accessibility Permission also allows the app to perform gestures, such as clicks and swipes.

Finally, the Accessibility Permissions allows the app to retrieve window content, therefore providing context information to the mouse cursor and what it is clicking on. This is to provide features to enhance its functionality--currently and primarily by letting the Mouse know what kind of button or widget it is clicking on.
