Great app for practicing chords. But he goes waaaaay too fast in his tutorials. And I find myself clicking the videos 20 times before they open. I think this would be a great app for somewhat experienced uke players, but as a brand spanking new one, I found the tutes way too fast to keep up with. There's also no control over the volume.
The initial use proved frustrating and lame in design. Scales just thrown here with no explanation as to the order of progression and why. also doesn't even sound correct compared to when I pluck a note. Just terrible guys. Go back and design it better before throwing it at us. BTW, how many times you're gonna ask if I would get the pro one. I said I'd consider it already 20 times.
I don't think the app helps a lot. I use a tuner that tells me whether my uke is in tune or not (can't tune by eat sry). I can watch the videos on YouTube in fullscreen and can look up chords that I need anywhere on the internet, as fast as I can on the app....What would be nice: Chord Sheets of the songs you play on YouTube! They are impossible to find on FB. (Do they actually exist?)
Overglorified YouTube playlist. Tuner is last century: manually by ear. Scales are boring and there's not even explanation of what to do, in what order and why. Song are just a list of videos that are the same as on the YouTube channel. Nothing special. Don't waist your time installing.
This app is terrible. Nothing to determine pitch. It also cannot read which note you played. Doesn't help you learn anything without the pro version. Do not download, do not be fooled by the friendly fave on the front.
I'm just learning how to play the soprano Ukulele, and this app has already taught me a lot! He explains things clearly, and I like how it shows which cord to play in the corner of the video. I've already learned the 3 basic chords and his special strumming pattern in 2 days of short practices. I'd recommend this app!
We've listened to your feedback and as an interim measure whilst we work on the next feature set we've fixed a few bugs made some minor improvements and added support for all you 'lefties' out there with Left Hand Mode, we've also added the ability to see the individual notes within each chord. Both options are selectable from within the options screen!
Please show your support for the app by upgrading to Pro Mode so you can be the first to get access to all the new features we've got planned!
