About this app

is a free android application for learning guitar scales and memorize the notes on the guitar fretboard. It contains chromatic, Ionian (major), harmonic major, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian (minor), Locrian, harmonic minor, major pentatonic, minor pentatonic, blues pentatonic, Hungarian Gypsy, Ukrainian Dorian, Acoustic, Persian, Algerian, Flamenco, Hawaiian, Chinese, Byzantine and Neopolitan scales.

Guitar Scales app contains scales for standard, 1/2 step down, 1 step down, standard B, drop D, drop C and drop A tunings.

Highlight the whole fretboard to show which notes are within a chosen scale and some positions (5 positions, 3 notes per string positions, diagonal positions) for each scale. Containing examples of the sound of scale and notes sounds. Optimized for all devices and tablets.

Guitar Scales app has right-handed and left-handed modes.

It can be useful for both novice guitar players and advanced players.

A cool suggestion: when looking at individual scale positions it would be nice to still see all the other scale positions, just in a 50% transparency mode. That way, we can work on a scale position but also add one or two notes from other positions developing our migration skills. Otherwise a fantastic app!

The app doesn't show the fretboard correctly on the new pixel 6. It was workings fine on the Pixel 3. Also, there doesn't need to be a separate app for arpeggios. I would be better to just combine them together.

Well. The Ibanez design is really bad. Distracts me from the points . And we should be able to zoom or minimize the neck profile. Not many scales . And they should add something like if I create 3 to 4 notes in the neck because it goes well with what I am looking than automatic should look for that scales . Just a plus
