I would give it 5 stars, but.... Every few weeks I have to uninstalled it and reinstall it. Because it won't recognize my password
App is good, company not so much. Never know if I will be able to deposit a check or not and it's a secret (seriously), as to why it is occasionally denied. Super inconvenient, and very un-customer friendly.
Broken logon Ever since the last update or so, I have to clear the app data every few times I login or it will treat me like a new user, ask for starter kit number and all that. I've had the debit card with my name on it since march.
Buy another card Bought the card, activation failed, and I was told to click a link on the website to "quit" and get my refund. there isn't a way to quit so then I was told to give them my phone number and schedule a time for a call so I did and they did not call now 3 days in with no human contact! Will I get my 200 dollars back? Ur guess is a s good as mine.. no human contact today as well
Love it I love the money vault feature. I can easily take money that I have within my bank account that I don't won't to spend and set it into the money vault within seconds in the app. I think it's genius. I wish you could have multiple vaults to save up for different things though.
Not just for the unbanked I bank with a credit union but still use Gobank for personal spending because I like my finances separated. I setup recurring bank to bank transfers to my Gobank card from my CU & forget it. I pay my bills with my CU but go ham on my Gobank card w/out the worry of seeing or touching my checking or savings account money. The only things I don't like are u can't instantly fund it by linking it to another debit card & the slide for balance is always wrong because it just shows the balance from my last login.
We made a few improvements and fixed some bugs—huzzah!
