First experience wasn't great Will give another try I guess, but, not in a hurry. Requested taxi in Melbourne. Endless spinning indicator while waiting for someone to pick up the job I guess. Cancelled after no obvious response or indicator about how long I might be waiting. Say what you will about Uber, but, it does a pretty good job of putting transparency and power in the hand of consumer. With no indicator of waiting time and an outdated approach to "incentives" to just get a taxi to pickup the job, I don't see myself using much.
Choice way to catch a cab. Quick & efficient. Used today for the first time, & what a pleasant surprise to find that from start to finish the whole service worked flawlessly. Definitely will use again. Cheers. Be aware though; if you choose to tip; it will be added to your final payment. Truly no cash needed on oneself for a cab anymore.
2years later. Still no "later" option in Android version. No obvious means to remove expired credit card. They are not listening 'Nuff said'!
terrible service and support I sent an email ages ago with mobile number which is of course a valid number but they never replied I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Absolute trash I have $25 credit. Booked a taxi, total cost $18. Tried to pay, got "Unable to process payment" even though my credit would have covered it and no need to Pay. Your app is trash, I won't use it again and nor will anyone I know.
Back to Uber Says my phone number is invalid, so can't use app.
