Ratings and reviews

Surprisingly addictive, but still an overall poor game (but getting better). There is little to do during downtime, and mostly it's: build upgrade, wait 7 days (or pay). Want to train an individual player? Pay. Your players are tired, run out of cards? Pay. I would recommend for those who would be okay spending money. Still, surprisingly addictive.

Nice to see that player handedness & height/weight have been added. Otherwise all changes cosmetic. Still missing a few things to become a top-tier game for me. Things I would like to see are more nations, reworked player names (especially US/CAN players are all named after real-life players which breaks immersion), player career stats, player roles (2wf etc.), separation of F & D lines, and off-ice interactions. Still the best hockey manager game out there though and looking forward to more.

You make rapid progress at first and can develop players and sign exciting players...even if it doesn't appear that better cards, play any better...results seem a little random. You eventually hit a wall and the game stops. You can't get enough coins which you need to sign players (the achievements to earn coins become prohibitive) and the cash you get goes on contracts which at a certain point become untenable. Of course you can pay a lot of real world money and you'll win..your choice.
