I've never, EVER written a review on an app I've used but I just have to for this new updates version of Gometro. It's absolutely confusing, complicated and very slow. This update was not necessary whatsoever. If the next update doesn't make it more simplistic to locate the nearest gold line (seriously, it can't even locate the one on union station), I will be uninstalling.
The previous version of the app had way more functionality with a simplistic design. The new layout of the app totally confuses me over and over again. Also it tends to crash. More importantly you can't even refresh the current times you're looking at which is a well missed function from the previous. Oh and when you click one stop to check its times all other nearby stops appear. I personally think that is an annoying feature. I only want the times for the stop I'm looking for not others nearby that can confuse my route.
What the heck are you guys doing??? I could at least use the app even though it would crash every other time... But now??? You guys wrecked all function of this app. Guess I'm using Google Maps from now on. Fix this app NOW. Revert to previous setup and fix the stupid bugs instead of changing the interface to this dysfunctional POS it is now.
The rest of the customers are right. The previous version at least had accurate times of arrival. This update was unnecessary. It serves no purpose other than telling you how to get to where you want to go at the scheduled times, if the bus is delayed or ahead of schedule you will never know. I hope they put it back the way it was.
App sucks! Click in the bus stop and out gives the times for all the bus stops around. Makes it harder to know which is your stop especially when bus numbers ate combined. Example look for the 38 bus going to USC at the Grand/Washington Blue Line Station.
Before the update the app was starts foward as it should be and I could at least get a good estimate as to when my bus was arriving even if the app did crash a lot. However, after this latest update, everything has become very confusing and I can't tell when by bus is going to arrive.
