Definitely not the only app you'll need, but it's a decent practice app. It would be 4 or 5 stars, but I have one main complaint with the app. They don't tell you what the word is in your language. They only show you a picture of it. There's one picture which I thought was like a granola bar, or maybe some crackers, but it was sugar? I understand this is so anyone from any language can learn with the app, but I hope they add the ability to choose your language as an option in the future.

Played a lot of French apps and this one i really like, it's easy, it let's you go in and out of levels without hassle, i just wish each subject was different from the other in terms of how it's played. It's the same thing every level just different words. I'd like maybe a word search, or sentence games, ... something of the sort! Still love this game though :)

ABCs and 123s! C'est très bien! I can learn basic french nouns, verbs and adjectives. Being able to listen and type the answers really helps me retain the information, beyond what simple matching games would do. I also love speaking along with the game voice as the pronunciation is accurate so it makes for good practice. Plus its easy to incorporate study sessions into any schedule.
