Bishop Chase was installed as Pastor of Friendship Cathedral Church of God in Christ on February 7, 1998. He was appointed Bishop-Elect of Greater Jamaica where he has 31 churches. Dr. Chase is one of the 15 National Trustees of the C.O.G.I.C. and has held the position of Secretary, former Superintendent of National Properties and member of the Constitutional Committee of the General Assembly. He currently serves as the secretary of the National Publishing Board, and National Overseer. Bishop Chase is an Administrative Assistant to Bishop G.W. Hardy, Virginia 4th Jurisdiction, Administrator Assistant of the South Eastern Region, Chairman of the Budget Committee and Founder of the Solid Rock District. Bishop Chase has held a seat on the Suffolk Public School System’s Board, appointed to identify gifted and talented students. He is the 1st elected national president of the Richmond Virginia Seminary Alumni Association.
Bishop Chase is a visionary and a motivated spiritual leader with the whole-hearted support of the Friendship Family. Not only has he established a special bond with his members, but with other churches and pastors of various denominations in the Chuckatuck Community as well.
