The CoolCloud HVAC application allows contractors to connect and communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth with Goodman and Amana premium air handler and furnace control boards. This provides a more efficient means for servicing and maintaining equipment, making configuration adjustments, gaining equipment status, performing diagnostics, viewing fault code history and ultimately simplifying the technician’s ability to ensure energy-efficiency and reliable performance.

The app worked fine when I first used it a year ago, occasional loss of Bluetooth connection but overall not bad. However I had a problem with my AC this week and the app no longer works at all! Sometimes it lets me get to the login screen, briefly says 'syncing' before completely crashing again. I've tried reinstalling and it still does the same thing. Goodman please fix your app.

Love the concept, much better than crouching in a dank basement squintong at dip switches. But the the bluetooth is weak in signal strength and loses pairing easily and frequently. Once paired the device should not require auth. Code to re establish connection. Update: still gotta crouch to peer thru the viewing port to get your new pairing code after everytime you walk to your truck. Would also like the option to chose 1st or 2nd stage operation. When it works, it does what you'd need it to do (it's not a very complicated app). However, latest Android phones don't ask for the correct permissions, and this causes repeated force stops. If you want it to work, you have to manually go into the app settings and change permissions to "Always". It still force stops all the time, and the security of this product is questionable in my mind. Goodman needs to hire some better Android devs. Can't even get the basics of an app correct.
