This is by far the best gesture app I had a chance to try out, definitely worth the asking price! That being said, I recently upgraded my tablet from a lollipop based AOSP to a Marshmallow based one, and now the google play store seems to think the tablet is suddenly incompatible. Yet your description says MM support added. Should I chalk it up to the said AOSP rom devs?
Finally take advantage of custom gestures! In case you don't have root access, just this app would make it worth doing so. With GMD you can create custom gestures that work on top of ANY android app. Some examples of how I use it: - Three fingers clockwise: open battery statistics - three fingers counter clockwise: toggle screen rotate - pinch 4 fingers: show quick menu with your favorite apps - swipe 3 fingers down: stand-by mode (same as short press power button) - etc.
Needs backup option This really needs a back up settings/gestures function. Even better if it can backup to cloud like other apps
Wish I could rate it higher. When it works it works great. But it frequently crashes, and every hour it forgets that I have its notification set to hidden, so I have to restart it and reset the settings. Very broken.
Improves interaction with tablets but not for phones! The developer doesn't update the app frequently! Very good extension of the operating system and something that Google should include in all Android builds! Wonderful for tablets but still needs improvement on mobile. The way "consume border events" is currently implemented creates issues on mobile. I understand the developer's reasoning but I still think that the user should be the one to decide how gestures are detected. Also the the border areas where gestures start are fixed not use defined.
Can make the naming of the lite version a bit more obvious? Since I flashed a new rom I didn't noticed that I installed the light version. I also missed the different icon. Didn't expected that were are two versions of this app.
