Buggy. Frequently crashes, losing reviews while writing them. Trying too hard to be something it's not. When the app crashes, apparently so does the desktop, or vice versa. Updated 10-19-23 Even with updates, it has continued to lose reviews after they post. The filter for when books were read still posts books in wrong order.

There are so many glitches in this app currently that I'm surprised it's even functional at all. 🥴 1. Home page won't load at all. 2. When I mark something as "want to read" or "currently reading" it will either automatically change itself to "read" or it will immediately revert to being unmarked. 3. Edits made to dates read for books don't save. I'm sure there's more that I've noticed recently, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. I hope these problems get resolved.

So much wasted potential. I love being able to track my reading progress, create lists, browse other books written by authors I've enjoyed, all in one place. The app itself is buggy (reviews won't load) and seems like it hasn't been revamped in a decade (I should know, I've been using it since 2013). At this point, I would expect new features or at least design updates. Maybe because there isn't a major competitor they feel the app can coast as-is, which is a bummer to loyal users.
