Incredible videos on every take

• Cinematic Blur - Create a cinematic effect by blurring the background behind your subject
• Cinematic Pan - Slow down your phone’s panning movements
• Long Shot - Take casual, quick videos by simply long-pressing the shutter key while in the default photo mode

Pixel 8 Pro Exclusive Features
• 50MP High Res - Take high resolution photos with richer detail

Switching from LG to Google is pretty disappointing. The way the photos are processed on google, you really don't get the quality you should with this camera. Also, I absolutely hate that there aren't pro settings where I can see my iso levels, shutter speed, etc. I'm a photographer and want to be able to choose my settings, not guess where I'm at with a slider. At least add an option to turn on pro settings for people who want to be able to use that info when taking photos.

With the recent update Google gets ahead of Microsoft in their race of making good apps unusable. The app now has 2 major problems that bring it almost down to the junk level: 1. If you do not exactly hit the shoot button then it will change the mode to night sight or portrait. 2. The zoom shortcuts work at most 30% of the time. Usually, when you hit the 2x or 4x button, a sliding scale will open and you must dial in the exact magnification. Both errors make it impossible to take quick photos.

I really like the quality of the photos, and the AI post-processing. I just wish it could take photos that have the same light levels as the actual environment. And that videos would have a denoising option like the stabilizing option. But I really like that the unblur setting actually unblurs photos now. And the HDR in photos is better. Cool...
