• Long Exposure - Add a creative blur to moving subjects in the scene
• Action Pan - Add a creative blur to the background while keeping your subject in focus
• Macro Focus - Vivid color and striking contrast in even the smallest subjects

Incredible videos on every take
• Record smooth videos with stunning resolution and clear audio, even in crowded, dimly lit places
• Cinematic Blur - Create a cinematic effect by blurring the background behind your subject
• Cinematic Pan - Slow down your phone’s panning movements
• Long Shot - Take casual, quick videos by simply long-pressing the shutter key while in the default photo mode

Pixel 8 Pro Exclusive Features
• 50MP High Res - Take high resolution photos with richer detail

The recent update moved the controls. Why? If you're going to change the location of the controls, at least give users a way to choose where they are. And still, I cannot say "shoot" or any simple voice command to take a picture when the app is open. Using OK Google is terrible. It takes too long to first open the app, then a 3 second countdown before snapping the picture. The camera app on my ancient Samsung phone had the option. When will we get this useful feature?

The new zoom slider is some of the worst design I've ever seen, I don't know who thought of that. Bring back the previous dot selectors for zoom. If I want to go straight to the telephoto at 5x I could do it previously in one tap, now I have to guess where the 5x zoom level is. Edit: I am aware that this change is caused by turning on voice access. But still, it should change at the user's discretion, not changed by another option automatically.

The app's layout is nice and clean. White balance, exposure, shadows controls are very intuitive instead of advanced settings which I don't think are practical on the smartphones. Ai build into the camera needs to be improved in some scenarios. Half of the time it does very well, the other half it makes images over sharpened and too much textured. This is especially visible on the surfaces like wood, it looks very detailed but looks bad when zoomed out (too much things going on).
