Permissions
• Location: To show your device’s current location on a map
• Contacts: To access the email addresses associated with your Google Account
• Identity: To access and manage email addresses associated with your Google Account
• Camera: To take pictures and videos

Ratings and reviews

This is simply not fit for purpose. The phone is right next to me on my desk, I can use "Find my phone" from the Web interface to play a sound -so it is contactable - but the Web interface will not find the location and says "can't reach device". Bringing up samsung SmartThings find I have no problem seeing the location. This has been a disappointing app, and in the past would often not cause a device to ring, even though it is lost in the house and has a good network connection.

Devices don't show up in the list and my Google Home Hub says no cell phone linked to your Google account! I use this feature even around my house all the time, but it suddenly stopped working. Used to work seamlessly. Samsung 23 Ultra. Device is shown on Google play. Now doesn't work at all. Checked location settings including location history, updates, Find My Device is turned on and every setting as suggested in forums. No fix for this FAIL!

After latest update, all my android devices have vanished from the device list. The screen shows no devices. I have used this for a long time as I am notorious for forgetting where I left my phone. Just opened it up on my tablet and all of my devices were missing. I eventually found my phone, and when I opened Find My Device, it initially listed all the devices, but then wiped out the list and it is now blank as well.
