Pin your most-used devices, automations and actions to the Favourites tab for easy access straight away when you open the app. View your Nest cameras and doorbell live feeds, and scan through event history easily. Set up and manage routines in the Automations tab. And quickly edit any permissions in the consolidated Settings tab.

Ratings and reviews

It's worthless. Takes forever just to load up my cameras. Then connecting to one is hit or miss without restarting it. Nest app is almost instant. Can't go forward or back in 15 second increments like the Nest app. Why can't Google Home just be a carbon copy of the Nest app. It's simple and works great. I'm going to transfer all my cameras back to Nest for now.

It is crazy! 300 years of Google Home and you still cannot use the most simple automation thinkable a BUTTON as a starter for anything. What a literal hell is going on and why is nobody talking about it!? And please fix routines mess. We have 2 different routine types: household and personal and to top it up theres default routines that cant really be changed. Personal cannot be favourites, household cannot have delays, both have different starters and actions available. It is very unusable...

Home app won't let me delete individual Cync bulbs. No delete button. Deleted, recreated entire home. No change. Now one of the bulbs turns on at 2:30 am, no routine with a trigger for that time. Routines don't execute on time or don't execute all actions. It's frustrating. Speakers/hub are on same network. Any troubleshooting suggestions have been followed. I contacted Google support. They did not help and were downright obtuse. I should simply throw this stuff away, get me some other system.
