Now I'm having issue and when I come home from work. The Google Chromecast doesn't even show up on the network and it won't let me cast to my TV on anything like YouTube, Netflix or anything. I have to keep hard reseting the device every day when I get home to just get it to work again. I've been doing this for at least a week now. Before that, I've had it for a year and never had to do this until recently. At least been going on for a week, maybe 2 weeks. It's getting really frustrating.

Hey Jacob, thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback and trying those steps beforehand. Make sure your Chromecast is within 15-20 feet of the router for a stable connection. Also, try rebooting your router for 5 minutes. For more help, reach out via phone, chat, or social channels: https://bit.ly/3mS38ME

Google branded cameras (Floodlight) go offline when WiFi is interrupted, still get notifications about motion and can see the motion video and audio, but cannot see live video. Google cameras suck, no way to get support for these in app at all! Update: they fixed the issue with a firmware update! It was great being able to talk with the team about the issue and they actually resolved it in just a few days! Great work!

It really only works half of the time and can be pretty frustrating, but when it does work it is glorious. I just wish it worked more times than it does. Using groups doesn't always work and is not synced most of the time which is also frustrating. Quite a bit has been invested in having multiple speakers to have "surround sound" to play music while getting work done. When the system doesn't work correctly, it can take too much time trying to troubleshoot or reset the system to just start.

We’re sorry you’ve had to go through this, Jeff. We'd suggest resetting your devices to default, moving them closer to the router and recreating your speaker groups. Also, try clearing cache and rebooting your phone before reinstalling the Google Home app. For more help, reach out through our support: https://bit.ly/3adTfGB
