Safety starts with understanding how developers collect and share your data. Data privacy and security practices may vary based on your use, region, and age. The developer provided this information and may update it over time.
It can't upload anything from mobile, and perpetually buffers forever, no matter how much you try to cancel it. It is fairly simple to use on desktop, but still runs into annoying naming errors at times, and doesn't always support various file types. In response to the advice: I have tried to upload using different networks; completely different phones/service carriers in fact! It has been a consistent issue for so long, I just email things to myself or use desktop if I need to upload to drive.

It's a decent app for digital backups of things such as documents and photos but I really would like Google to knock it off with the fear mongering notifications. "OMG, you only have 20GB of storage left! Upgrade right now this instant!" And then those obnoxious notifications are accompanied by yellow or red text to scare you into upgrading "right now this instant". Most of us are intelligent enough to decide if and when we should upgrade and don't require fear mongering or hand holding.

I've been very happy with using Google Drive for geneology records and photos. PROBLEM: Even with high speed internet, the app will lock up when clicking to view a comment, saving or resolving a comment. It freezes and then it asks to choose to Close the app. Very frustrating. I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy 10E to a Samsung Galaxy 23 and still have the issue.

Hi, Julie. Could you try uninstalling and then reinstalling the Drive app itself? If this doesn't help, please visit our Community Forum for any additional assistance: https://goo.gl/DvMg7m.
