Horrible New Interface The new interface is terrible. All those little buttons next to the editing field are completely unnecessary, and they steal precious little space from the content I'm trying to edit. I don't need a way to discard changes when I can just tap "undo". No, no, no, no, no. Put it back. I don't need more ways of doing the same thing. I need it to be easier to work with; to be as close to a desktop experience as possible.
Great but doesn't attach to emails When it comes time to attach a sheet to an email from the app, it shows up as an attachment in the email, but absolutely disappears once message is delivered to recipients. Two thumbs down when you're trying to email your work timesheet to get paid and your company doesn't get your hours worked. Maybe I'm hitting the wrong button.. But this has happened five or more times.
Amazing I have been reluctant to use an online suite of office apps for quite a while. But for a recent project where the client has to interact a lot I switched to Google Apps. I will never revert to another set of tools. Google Sheets is in par with the rest of the other apps in the suite: I specially appreciate its reliability, offline capabilities, the simplicity of the general use.
Great buy not outstanding As a basic replacement for excel it works great but like all phone or tablet versions it lacks in accessibility to get to the finger points of excel. From what I've used all formula's and settings are doable just take extra time to get to.
I use it for a lot of stuff but it keeps deleting on mobile If I was typing something in a cell and then try to scroll around, if I "started scrolling" in the cell I was typing in, it deletes the whole thing. GONE, no undo can fix it, LIKE I HADN'T TYPED ANYTHING. It's horrible. The entire "selection" feature is bad; it's WAY too easy to accidentally select stuff instead of scrolling. I think you should make it so it will only select if you drag near the corner(s). If I want to select, I can select, and if I want to scroll, it's not going to select or delete stuff.
Exceeds MS O365 Excel Ive used both Google Sheets & Excel in Office 365 - both on android. Google has more functionality. MS are just releasing a lot of new features this month. Dont fall behind. We've come a long way since Lotus123 sheet. IBM killed that one.
