Every time you guys do an upgrade, it never truly is an upgrade!!! Ninety-nine percent of the time just generally and All electronics, (with the exception of a few) the upgrades are mostly downgrades!!! These days... Not just with Google assistant, but pretty much consistently every upgrade, on my computer, on my phone and/or any other electronic piece of piece of, equipment, industry wide!!!

Used to work fine, now saying Hey Google won't work at all! This is both with the screen locked and unlocked. Yes, it is turned on and the language settings are correct, and voice training has been done, retrained, deleted, added multiple times. App has been reinstalled to no avail. I have no thick accent, either. Just your average American. Nothing has worked to make saying Hey Google bring up the assistant. The only way to use it is to manually bring it up which defeats the purpose.

I'm having the same problem that everyone else is having after an update lock screen and the home screen activation does not work whenever I say hey Google nothing happens. I've gone through all the steps to try to fix it. I've tried to retrain the voice command that does not work as well. My device is working fine. No issues with the device and the microphone is operating normally.
