I don't trust Google. The James Damore sacking and Sundar Pichai's views on social engineering make Google very untrustworthy. They certainly can't be trusted to curate the news with honesty and integrity. We need facts and opinions from different sides of an issue. This app appears to prioritise news according to a social-political agenda.
Very well done guys! You make us happy as always. I've been only using Flipboard for several years but now it's time to come back to roots since I like how the Newsstand changed with time. Thank you!
I use this a lot, but I'm still thrown that a Google app has ads. Either give me credit for my thousands of dollars of Google purchases (devices, storage, subscriptions, apps, storage) or take another dollar or two from me and let me remove the ads. I'll pay if given the chance.
Force closes all the time. The app itself is alright but when in a story the app often force closes. It may restart at the same location 75% of the time, but the rest of the time I'm back at the top and have to skim the stories to see where I left off, which is difficult as they're dynamically updated. Often I just give up and use Google Now.
Don't know why but all of a sudden this app keeps crashinh and won't show thae articles. I have to clear the cache and shut the app completely for it to work. Never was an issue before, shame as this was the only news app I used.
Can not organise a proper stream that excludes publications or give a proper summary from publications and topics that I choose. It's gross that the app favors publications chosen by Google. Feels a little disheartening when considering the implications of neutral information.
