Ratings and reviews

Good, extremely useful, couldn't be without it. Marking it down for the recent bizarre change giving it a blue tint to everything, and Street View isn't as quick and easy to move around on (can't describe it well - movement isn't "fluid", takes a lot of touches/moves to move small amounts rather than a flick of a finger to move it around quickly and easily).

The new update is a disaster. Thr view is not zoomed in making it really difficult to navigate in cities while driving, especially when trying to figure out which lane or exit on a roundabout. It doesn't help that the name of the street is now on top of the arrow(car) so another thing blocking the view. What a joke! Brimg back the old one.

Directions are generally good for driving, not always the safest routes for walking but that's fairly standard for maps apps. Cycle routes tell you how hilly they are which is a nice feature. The recent update has made the map almost unusable when driving. The roads used to be yellow, with the route you needed to go blue. Now the road is a blue grey, there's no contrast. You can no longer tell quickly which way you need to go, so you're looking at the map for longer instead of the road.
