It's quite buggy on Pixel 2 XL. First be very careful with the deleting function (slide left). I didn't find any way to recover a video clip or a Motion Photo once it was deleted from within Motion Stills. Second, videos and Motion Photos that I downloaded from Google Photos don't show up in the gallery.
User interface is a bit clunky. It's hard to find photos that were taken ages ago (need to scroll all the way). Also, converting to gif is simple enough, but it can only be done in conjunction with sharing to another app, and not saving a copy only.
Now the issue is with flash, thr app should provide flash for better capturing capabilities. Even when using front camera, the image is very dark even though there is sufficient light in the room( tested on 3 phones with different specs). #Only issue is with deleting the file. Tha app crashes at that time.
Please update. This app can recognize my motion photos， but It will crash when I use it to edit or play my motion photos. the system is android oreo.pls handle with this problem.Thank you. And there is another little suggestion that I want to propose, the watermark is out of Google’s element. I just think that you could change it to keep pace with Google’s Style(such as the Google logo)
Seems great and love the smoothness. Glad we finally have it! But, front facing camera is useless on my Pixel XL. It's like the gamma is turned down so low you can only see shadows. Am I missing something?
Nice and simple once you work out what the buttons do. Crashes quite a lot, could do with some guidance and needs to transition between light and shade rather better. Otherwise a good start and great to see regular updates!
