It's alright. The customization is severely lacking though. It's clear they're insistent on pushing certain new "features" even if it's against your will. Wish I was able to remove the "at a glance widget" which is pointless for me and just takes up screen space. There are a few other glitch issues, but besides that it's alright.

Very good and one of the major draws to owning a pixel device. However, it seems so fundamentally flawed that one can't even add screens to the left of the home page. Yes, you can have the Discover feed there, but it's unhelpful and feels like ckickbait articles. I'd much rather have Google Now style cards specific to me, or the ability to add my own screen with widgets. Google Now cards were one of my favorite android features and I feel as though android has stagnated or even declined since.

Good but not enough. More customizations would be helpful, like swipe up/down quick action on home screen icons, a much larger home screen grid (!!), and I really really wish there folders in the app drawer. I can't live with just a gigantic list of apps and I don't want to search for everything all the time. If I could organize my apps in the app drawer instead of keeping folders on the home screen (taking up what precious space I have), that would go a long way towards making it better.
