Pretty good, needs tiny improvements. For example, there needs to be a way of manually removing downloaded podcasts. There is the option of them to be auto removed after being played. But the app has no idea which ones I actually heard. I listen to them in bed, I fall asleep, I wake up in the middle of the night, listen until I fall back to sleep, etc. I want to remove just the ones I actually heard, and keep the "played but not heard" ones to listen to later.

Used this service for years, and it was ok. Now it's turned to garbage. You cannot just go to a podcast a listen to one episode after another. After your episode is done, it defaults to your queue automatically, and ther is no setting to get around it. Plus, I noticed most of my queue just disappeared today, so, I'll be moving to a better service. Google has become just garbage, and no longer relevant.

You are letting me know this will migrate to YT Music. Don’t do this. Your menu is super quick and intuitive. Spotify is slow, takes time to load and a lot more clicks. This app is straight to the point, simple and BETTER. If you do decide to go to YT Music to compete with Spotify, please let me still have this app.

What's new

Google Podcasts now supports adding podcasts by RSS feed! Open the app and navigate to Activity, and then to the Subscriptions tab. Select the three dots in the top right corner and then "Add by RSS Feed." Once added, the podcast will appear along with your other subscribed shows, including at the top of the Home tab.
