I've used Google Podcasts for years and really enjoyed it. I tried to migrate to YT Music and it is a horrible product. I end up wasting time navigating in circles, trying to find my downloaded queue and then the podcast turns off when the screen times out. I listen to podcasts while I'm driving, so I need a very simple interface like Google had. I would like to see what other users have found for a Google replacement.

I am so sad this app is ending. It's far superior to YT Music is terrible for podcasts. No other app I've found let's you put things in a queue and play without interruption. I like to dry my list and let it run while I work in my shop. I don't have time to mess with my phone every time an episode ends. Please don't take this app away!

What's new

Google Podcasts now supports adding podcasts by RSS feed! Open the app and navigate to Activity, and then to the Subscriptions tab. Select the three dots in the top right corner and then "Add by RSS Feed." Once added, the podcast will appear along with your other subscribed shows, including at the top of the Home tab.
