I like the idea of Google Express and being about to collaborate with the household (new feature) should be a great addition if implemented well. What I don't like is that the prices for items are not the same as in the store and that is unfortunate. If Google Express needs to charge a larger premium for the service or delivery fees, that's understood, but the consumer should be able to know exactly what sort of premium they are playing. I've noticed everything on the Costco list is more expensive than at the brick and mortar store by at least $1-2 per item. It would also be much more useful if more items per store were available.
Crashes constantly when in a store. The Keep app did the same shopping list feature, connected smoothly to Google Home, and worked perfectly for years. This app does not meet my expectations as a Google product. If you can't get a simple shopping list feature to work well, I definitely dont feel like testing out the new online buying features you seem to be pushing on me.
I used to love the integration of "keep" with Google home. Now we're forced to use this, which doesn't have the ability to change the order of my shipping lists. It's also impossible to access the app without a WiFi or data connection. One more thing. It takes more steps to get to your grocery list. Please fix this, or better yet, give us the ability to use the "keep" app with home! Come on Google, look at all of the one star reviews! Listen to your customers!!!
This service is terrible. Rarely can I find what I need and when I do it's from several different stores so i usually have to pay shipping. Also, the few stores available I could order directly from the store's website and get free shipping anyway. There is really no need to go through Google. It needs a larger selection of items and needs to do away with shipping charges if it's going to work.
This App is so much worse than Google keep which was awesome. It crashes all the time in the store and is not user friendly. Keep was simple easy to use and worked well. Hate that you got rid of something that was working well for our family. Now I am back to making paper grocery lists like the olden days.
Completely worthless. Crashes constantly, checked off items reappear when reopened, etc. I primarily used this for a shopping list, which is inconveniently buried in the menu, and linked the list to my Google Home. But the app is just too unreliable. I much preferred the integration with Keep--wish they'd bring that back.
• Now you can invite your friends and family to add items to your Shopping Lists.
• Add items to shared lists from your phone, computer, and even Google Home.
• The app no longer runs Android versions older than Jelly Bean (released July 9, 2012).
• Spring cleaning bug fixes and a fresh new logo make it into this release as well.
