Improving rapidly Having used Google's Translate since its early days, professionally, for mostly European languages; it has now become equal to or better than all of the standalone computer applications, programs and Apps that I have invested a lot into. Google's continuing efforts to seek global participation for improving Translate are creating on a minute to minute basis what will become the most powerful translator - human or automated. I don't love its cold look, especially on smartphones though.
Could be better Not as good as the computer version for some reason, doesn't show enough alternative translations and the one offered is often not what I need. It's frustrating because the PC version is becoming quite good.
It's helpful for small things I most of the time use the app to confirm spelling mistakes; however, when it comes to translate complete paragraphs or sentences it might be a little tricky...
Rubbish For a company that turns over 70 billion + a year this is complete rubbish...More of a glorified dictionary at best...very rare that it can actually structure a sentence of more than 3-4 words accurately... And even uses the least common variants of words when translating!!! Best way to verify the accuracy is reverse translate every thing ! You will then see how terrible this app is ...good luck
Excellent Molto bene grazie! Please find a method to understand Sicilian dialect on vocal method, sounds different than high Italian and mistranslates. Thank you...So useful when speaking with friends around world couldn't live without this App!! Thanks
Google translate Is probably hard to learn a language in another country but with translation you can pretty much feel at home you will help you through the language barrier and help you learn other languages wonderful app
Suggestions as you type. Minor bug fixes.
