My credit card just disappeared? Was working great. I guess I'll add it back in. EDIT: Reply to dev - Yes, screen lock is enabled, although, I have a bluetooth smart unlock paired to my Android Wear watch, so the lock almost never turns on. I added the card back, and it has stayed there fine now. I recently upgraded to a new phone, maybe that has had something to do with it.
Don't force me to use screen lock I used to love paying with my phone, but won't now due to the unacceptable screen lock requirement. It requires a password for the whole phone instead of just for the app. The pin belongs at the app level instead of telling me how I have to use my whole phone. I don't want to have to use a pin or password every time I unlock my phone, which could be dozens of times a day, just so I can use Android Pay a few times a week. Forcing me to use my phone a certain way is very un-Android.
Great app, works wonders but not on newer pbone Works everytime I've tried to use it, just have to unlock my phone. Much better than using contactless on card as has added security. People having the issues saying won't work for your card, not apps fault is banks. Still get few weird looks using it but think that's part of the fun however recently got a new phone, xpiera xz and its not working as well, takes a lot longer to register to use and has few issues. Hopefully this update will fix it. Will update depending on review
Overly intrusive for very little return Do we have an app level lock yet? User should decide on PIN lock or app lock. I can't use this app because there are times that i need to unsecure my phone for work. There are times when I require the ability to un-PIN. In my work I can't be seen spending 30 seconds keying in a PIN to view a 5 second text. The PIN should be on the app, not on the phone. Until Pay is everywhere, it's only useful .5% of my week.
Needs better options and settings. For some reason when I deleted my expired bank card, and added my new bank card, it no longer works the same way it did before. There are no options or configuration pages to fix it myself. On top of that the problem I have now is that I'm required to type in my backup password every time I attempt to tap and pay. It should be asking for my pin like Google wallet does, or better yet, just swipe my finger print. Even better would be an option to just work without any extra steps as long as my phone is unlock
Great when it works Still buggy often require password even imediatly unlocking the phone using finger prints and then open the app which is embarrassing and frustrating. At first I thought it was a time lag between opening my phone and some time delay but now believe it is a lag between Internet connection maybe
