A huge number of banks and cards aren't supported. Countless stores don't accept Android Pay. (Samsung Pay works everywhere.) I have to lock my entire phone instead of just the app. Deal breaker! Other payment methods only lock the app. (Banks don't require the entire device be constantly locked.) Why do the last 10 updates always just claim the same "new features" were added? Tap. Pay. Uninstall app.
Wow, I'm really impressed! Since chip readers have started to slow down check out, the difference being able to whip out your Android and pay instantly is incredible. I am so glad Discover incentivized me to use this app. Here's to no more shuffling to find my credit card, and to instant digital receipts!
Great to pay for small purchases. My main bank does not support it yet though. Still use their plastic card for most things so I get their rewards. Could do with retailers eventually upping the £30 limit. And loyalty cards won't upload so I use Stocard.
Tap to pay is constantly broken on Google's own Nexus 6. Worthless app. As soon as I get one issue fixed another pops up. I have about a 25% success rate using this at the limited number of stores that accept it. What is the point?
I have a good spread of debit and credit cards and not one is accepted. I've had updated cards with contactless support and still not supported. The only good thing about a switch to iPhone later in the year will be Apple Pay so I can finally enjoy mobile payments.
After Noughat installed, my Android continuously asks for my pin to unlock and then try tapping the sales pad over and over and over again. I essentially cannot use this app. Just installed the update and no change. I am removing the app and finding something else. I had to drop this down to 1 star. After 2 updates to the app, I still am in the same endless loop and unable to use the app. I don't know if this is a phone-specific issue, or not. That being said, I wish I would have never upgraded my Android OS, or, waited to see what apps were impacted prior to the install.
• You can now pay with a card other than your default. Just open the app and tap on the card right before you pay.
• Bug fixes and improvements.
