Used it at the McDonald's and Trader Joe's. No issues at all. Recently traveled overseas, had so much issues with chip and signature card. Luckily most places take tap and pay so used Android Pay. Worked seamlessly and didn't have to sign and stand out like a tourist.
Deleted my profile randomly twice now. I got stuck 2nd time as I was out of town and had no method of payment to get back home without having to enter all of my card details again. Wouldn't have this issue if PayPal released their own version.
It's getting there, only veeeerryyy slooowly. Supported cards in Canada are extremely limited. Tried four different credit cards from different banks as well as two debit cards. None were supported. I guess the banks are to be blamed. Useless for now. Will try again in a year.
So far not many places take this, not my personal bank. My buisness card supposedly works but i haven't been able to use it at Home Depot yet.
Didn't work 1st and 2nd try but 3rd one turned out not too bad. Was embarassed by Scotia mobile pay function and hopefully this won't repeat the disaster.
Works well for making payments; however it is not secure. does not appear to be any sort of password or biometric lock on using a card or even opening the app. Since this app uses credit card info this is a major concern. What if someone stole my phone, they will wake up phone and use it as my credit card and tap it to pay, as there is no security layer though I have already set biometric security on my phone. This is in Canada.
• You can now pay with a card other than your default. Just open the app and tap on the card right before you pay.
• Bug fixes and improvements.
