Was nice to see that USAA was finally added to work with this, and that a person can swap between cards for use is nice. But the card I had been using since AP came out from Barclay's was recently removed, and that's all I ever use to get the rewards. So now it's not of really any use to me again. Le sigh....It would be very convenient to be able to rename cards in AP. Just saying devs
Transaction history is missing transactions. The charge went through, but the in app transaction history shows no record of it. It's bad enough that I can't get a printout, but now it's missing data. This feels very toyish to me. It's interesting that Google will remember and track everything it can about my, except when I want them too. Anything financial needs a record. Like I said, it feels like a pretty toy.
I get an error every time I try to add cards now. "Request failed, Please login" My cards that were added prior, work just fine. Update: Two App updates later and I still can't add cards. I do know how to add cards, because I've added 4 prior. I've tried adding two different, supported cards and they both give the same " Request Failed, Please Log in." message right after entering the card information and address.
I agree with most of the reviews regarding Turbo 2. After the pathetic upgrade by Motorola to 7.0 the app has never worked correctly sense. Now I end up erasing the data in the Google Play services, erasing the screen pattern, uninstalling the app, and then reinstalling everything. Sometimes it will work for two weeks, sometimes for a month. I just never know when the apps not going to work. Usually of course when I'm standing in a very long line thinking it will work. For right now I hate this app. I would love it if it actually work. Tried contacting Google multiple times, but to no avail.
In principle, this is a great idea and much more secure than contactless cards. The big problem I have found is that 4 out of 5 shops ive tried it in have been unable to take a payment from the card despite having the correct terminals for it. They can't all have errors, surely? A pretty disappointing start but hopefully should get better as the method starts to take off in the UK.
Just started using this app. Apprehensive at first. First transaction easy. No problems. Tried again today. No problems. The app is easy to set up with credit and debit cards. Dead easy to change a card for a default payment card. Paying this way is definitely the way forward. It's good you get a message after you have paid giving the amount and retailer. Great app.
