Chip issues So when I try to pay at a store that requires the card insertion with the chip, I just can't use the Android pay, I have to insert the physical card. A prime example is at CVS stores. I am required to insert the card into the machine even if I use Android pay. Please advise.
No Android Pay for modiers or custom roms Doesn't look like Google wants their best fans and early adopters to use Android Pay. If your phone is rooted or a custom rom you can't add your credit card or pay at the register. Some much for different but the same. If I wanted a uncustomizable device I would buy an Iphone. Still. still.
Works Wallet worked. Now get error another app is preventing... Update: getting back to normal, not sure why I have to unlock my unlocked phone. Would be better if I could put the code in line.
Still figuring out out I haven't been able to its it that much as not many of the places I shop support it and my bank's debit card doesn't support android pay. I like the concept and possibility.
I am not a fan of a forced lock screen I used to use Google Wallet's tap and pay feature occasionally. I was excited about this going mainstream and having this feature available in actual stores instead of vending machines. But requiring a lock screen to be on my phone 24/7 vs. the occasions that i may use this feature is a deal breaker.
Nice, needs work It works, but it needs work. There's no way to prime the app like you could in Google Wallet by unlocking it prior to check out. If I'm waiting in line already, I can prepare the app for a quick tap instead of having to do a tap, fingerprint swipe, tap again. When they make some improvements, I'll use it more. The novelty has worn off.
