Ratings and reviews

New and older tracks available whenever to listen to where ever I am. Love the flexibility of listening to new suggestions which actually end up being one of many favourite tracks. The odd time though are tracks which doesn't appeal. ok, I know some people don't the monitoring of their browsing but this allows the app to suggest relevant things you're likely to like - music you've never heard before. And then you end up loving a track you've never heard of before.....and loving it!

More ads than ever. I've noticed in the past few weeks that im getting an ad after each song I listen to. Half the time, it's 2 ads where you have to watch both before the next song plays. I used to LOVE the YT music app, but now it's a chore, especially when I'm working and can't skip all the time. I can't afford to buy premium or even pay for other music app subscriptions. I appreciated how the number of ads were manageable, but now, it's 1 after EVERY song.

Used this app for years, never had a problem. 2-3 weeks ago the app says all of my downloads have expired as I haven't logged in for 30 days. The app is permanently logged in and I use almost daily. It asks if you want to reload them but nothing happens. I tried connecting to WI-FI, Data, looking for updates then finally logging out and back in. That's when all 1955 songs vanished from my downloads. People scold me for using YouTube Music. There is no reason now to keep my paid subscription.
