This app and its coordination with iCal have gotten me through times in life I couldn't have managed otherwise. Seriously. My only quibble is trying to switch between AM + PM when setting item is problematic. Thumbs too big?
The new update has put two calendars on my phone. When I turn off one alarm I still have to go back and turn off another of the same alarm. It's hard to see my daily schedule. And the snooze and dismiss doesn't work anymore.
Works for me. Great when it scoops up events and itineraries from emails etc but not foolproof. Sometimes doesn't catch them but a minor quibble. Syncs across all my devices including reminders to my Windows 10 pc. Like the pics and photos it pulls in when you enter location too.
Forced upgrade of calendar app with Marshmallow 6.0 upgrade is annoying. New calendar app is near unusable. Due to changes to font and sizing of event views, no longer can see full entries in day view without looking two levels down in event edit (and even then, must use slider to scroll thru longer event descriptions). Disappointed in format changes which have made the product unusable for my needs.
Great product by Google due to ease of use and synchronization. Reminders has essentially replaced all those checklist apps I've ever used. Once I check in "All day", I just get on my day. If Reminders could be added with more options such as how to prioritise them, or colour coded, or sound feedback when they are completed, this could easily compete with all the other checklist apps.
Give me the option for 7 day at least! I work shift work at a FD. 5 days at a time doesn't work for everyone. MotoX 2nd gen lollipop
