It's a decent app and looks great but it needs a better widget that shows a monthly view instead of just a card style planner. I'm gravitating towards all things Google as they slowly improve but not quite there yet. Also, the option to add icons to events would be useful such as birthdays, dinners and other outings.
Good for one person I like this calendar and it has gotten easy to use over time but it would be great if I could link mine too my boyfriend's so we could both see each other's. I tried sharing it with him but he had to go to his email and click on the dang link revert time he wants to see my schedule. It just isn't realistic, would be great to have my stuff in one color and his in another.
Great! except... Overall, I really like this app. However, it doesn't allow me to view all my subcalendars that I can see when using a web browser and Google calendar. For instance this app doesn't show a team calendar that I've subscribed to, nor a subcalendar that I created within my Google calendar. Also, I'd love to be able to copy/clone calendar events. With these fixes, the app is 4.5 stars.
Design isn't everything. I generally love google's products; however, the new calendar is terrible. I can't see at a glance what my months look like and I can't see a full 7 days at once. They've spent so much time trying to get the style right that they've forgotten about functionality. Design is certainly important but from one of the world's leading software companies I expect better software and not just a pretty face.
Not enough Sorry about that, I'm using almost all Google's apps and I hardly gave them bad feedbacks but Calendar needs a big improvement. Samsung's S-planner is definitely better, easier to use. Hope my feedback will change very soon! It looks like Tablet's interface is nicer.
Support from google Good app but google support is lacking - their forum doesn't really work. They acknowledged my question by bringing out a recent update. Would have been nice if it was acknowledged on the forum - then others could also have benefited - and there were MANY others with the same problem that also felt ig nored. I checked their posts as well - no conclusive solutions offered.. but the app is good.
