I love my calendar but um... For the last three updates it says the same thing in the what's new. Connect to Google Fitbit.. so what's really new then? I don't think I need to update it any more till there really is a new update.. unless you guys just like us all updating it every week so you can track our using habits??
1.) I would like to see some personalization in the holidays. "Holidays in Canada" is too vast; let us choose which holidays to show within the selected country 2.) A dark theme would be nice 3.) Sync almost never works. When I make changes, I have to uninstall and then reinstall so it will update. And it must be done on each device. Sometimes that doesn't work. Only one device updates and the other keeps old dates I no longer need to see. Your apps and policies have really made me hate you Google, I hope your happy👌
Please add a real "share" feature. I don't normally want to invite people to events. Most other calendar apps have a variety of sharing options. Also, a week agenda view and an easy a copy/paste function would be great. I don't want to have multiple calendars, but so many of your products lack basic features that other apps have. And an automatic night mode would be cool.
I'm an educator and we use Google Apps for Ed. We would love to use your calendar as a resource scheduler but your calendar is way to combersom to use for this purpose. For example we break up our day by periods or blocks. If we had a way of quickly grouping times and then be able to assign labs or carts to these times it would be unbelievable. Ex. Lab scheduler 2.0 or bookit lab
The Copy, Paste, and Select All buttons are invisible when editing reminders, but they can still be selected if you know where they are. Still, it's very annoying. When opening and editing a past instance of a repeating reminder (e.g. it was set to trigger yesterday) by selecting its notification from the notifications bar, it applies the changes I make to it to all future instances of that reminder automatically, without asking if I want to edit only the past instance, or all future ones as well. Very annoying.
I don't have a fitbit and don't want one, but I use "Goals" to help me get my time in and the climbing gym. If I want to invite someone else to my session I have to make a separate event to run congruently and invite them to THAT. It mucks up the interface, and is an inconvenience. You FINALLY seem to have gotten rid of the doubling effect of invites, fix this with "Goals".
Connect to Google Fit so that Calendar can mark fitness goals as done automatically and schedule future times more efficiently. Check your progress with the new visual tracker.
