So the latest update today has completely killed the intelligent language in the event title. It no longer recognises contacts or offers addresses of contacts or even event times. Come on Google, don't do an apple and break good things. In fact, the stock apple calendar is now better than this as that does do the things this used to do (I have an iPad for work)
What have you done? Schedule view now looks awful. Much more difficult to easily see than with old implementation Update: Reading other reviews seems like same problem of loss of colour coding for exchange meetings
Hard to find important settings sometimes. Additionally, without explanation, fails to notify. This makes the entire app worthless. Stop putting out undocumented updates that break Calendar's proper functioning.
Since this app is lacking features, you need to allow other calendar apps to have access to "Keep". I could careless about putting automatic gym workouts on the calendar. How about you actually get us a good fitness watch instead of wasting time with gym calendars. This app is so ugly and childish looking. Looks like a 6 yr old made it. How are adults suppose to take this app seriously?
How do I turn off those annoying pictorial additions to select events, which show up in the schedule view? Such as anything I label, lunch, flight, or theatre? They take up too much space and add no value at all. I reeeeally dislike these and am only sticking with the app because I can sync easily with other google products.
Lacks basic functionality. I often need to create a new event that is just like a currently scheduled event. But this app cannot copy (duplicate) events. Instead, I am forced to create a new, blank event at the new date and time and then set up all its properties anew - reminders, colours, title, notes, location, etc. This app shows yet another frustrating reduction in basic functionality by Google. I now use a non-Google calendar app that is far better.
