Edit: It's been a while since I've noticed issues with WiFi calling. Solid performance for at least a year now. Thanks for whatever app improvements since my last review. - - - WiFi calling continues to be problematic, but have seen it work flawlessly on occasion. Need to toggle WiFi off/on or leave off for me to hear the other party. Happens whether I dial or answer a call. Otherwise, the app works great. The call monitoring transcribe feature of a call I haven't answered yet is very good.

When out of network or off, calls do not show up as missed call, & caller's phone does not even dial ( just hangs up) so that it seems # is not working at all. This app used to inform of missed calls, now they don't. It has nothing to do with network bars, phone on or off. Tried uninstalling, then reinstalling, but nothing works like it used to. New updates degrade service, making problems like this worse. Please address problem without blaming carrier or bars. Thank you.

I often dial by accident. The app often makes it difficult to answer a call on time, not showing me anything on the screen for several seconds, and difficult to find the Hangup button. I can swipe to close the app, but the call still doesn't end. Sometimes I have to go to notifications to find the red button. Even though my phone is set for audio alerts, sometimes it rings, sometimes it vibrates, and sometimes there is no sound or vibration.

With our latest update to Call Screen on Pixel devices in the US, the Google Assistant now helps you automatically screen unknown callers and filter out detected robocalls before your phone ever rings. And when it’s not a robocall, your phone rings a few moments later with helpful context about who is calling and why.
