It is a good app. It does give me my email, but......... it keeps constantly giving me the same email that I have deleted. I would delete it from my inbox just to have it show up again in my inbox 10 seconds later. This is a reoccurring thing that happens almost every time I check my email. It is not a deal breaker seeing as it does give me all of my email, but I do find that quite obnoxious.
What's ironic is that the iPad and iPhone versions of this app have an "unread" mail folder. The Android version does not. So while iOS users enjoy a user experience, similar to that of the web app, with reading their email, Android users do not. This seems like a simple feature to add. Nocked it down another star for not adding the same functionality enjoyed by iOS users now for three years since my review.
You failed Google! I had a tally going dating back to October 2016 for when an update came out, you stated what the update was in the green field box. With an update on 5-27-2017, there was an update and a description in the green field box. The following day, 5-28-2017, there was another update, but no change in the green field box description. You failed! Now, 6-8-2017, 6-9-2017 and 6-22-2017, there is more updates, all without the green field box being updated!
Certainly not the greatest by far. I just had to drink the kool-aid like everyone else. Anyway, what is today's update talking about? "Save time with Smart Reply: Tap one of the three options to start your response - hit send when done". What?
For a long, long time it was above the rest but now other vendors have caught up and to some degree overtaken Gmail's intuitiveness. In fact, I've often chosen to use the web version of Gmail over the app. The app often has synchronisation issues and during such an issue it guzzles battery life, and this you don't realise until you next use/check your phone. I'm thinking of dropping this app for Outlook
Recently lost the clip tray. Still have it on other aps. Just not Gmail. I've clip tray extensively. Please fix Please give us an unread tab so that we can quickly find unread emails. Everything else is great thank you
