This is one of the best email clients and one I keep going back to. And from. I'm a person that loves consistency. Most of the apps use all-black or mostly black in dark mode. Then, comes Google apps and their complete inconsistency with everything else. There should be an option of complete black, or set a standard where black is a certain level. Or tuned. The best thing about the iPhone is consistency throughout most apps. This is something Google should learn.

Not getting email notifications no matter what I do. Permissions are there. I'm using the latest version, I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling etc. When sending an email the app closes every time as well. I believe they think this is a feature and not a bug for some reason. It doesn't crash, the app just goes to the background. It should just continue to your inbox and show a "Sent" notification but it does neither.

Disappointed.. The app is malfunctioning. When switching between apps, when you click on the left to display your folders, you get the settings icon. I have to kill the app several times before my folders come up. The "FROM" line isn't populating with my email address. On top of that, when you want to delete mass emails, you literally have to hold down each email. For Google to be so progressive, this app is very poorly designed and is definitely not as user-friendly as it could be. Do better!
