Gmail is simplicity in the making - A five stars performer par exellence. Long time established gmail user since the early 90's and in all that time - Have never had any problem ☺ I don't know why people are put-off by repeated updates. They are mainly security fixes and should be welcomed by all who use gmail ☺
Mailmigrationapplicaton errors involving notorious Google play services suddenly. Still retrieves my mail but damn annoying. Deleted Gmail, reinstalled, same new error. My Google play services only has permissions for calender, contacts, and storage which should be good enough for mail. I've read elsewhere that it needs biometric permission for mail. Ridiculous and no. Uninstalling mail instead.
I dont rem when this started, but the problem i have been facing is this: Let's say a new email comes in, i click it, reply, send! Done. BUT, if the person replies, i click the new email reply in my inbox, it then loads the original email with my reply at the bottom, not the new reply I supposedly clicked on. Why is it acting like this? Still not fixed with latest update though... please help, gmail. U are better than this! Samsun Note 5
There is a major issue which i am facing from few months, whenever a new mail comes it opens fine, then of i reply to it that also works fine but then when again a reply comes on that mail, in the list preview i could see the first line of the reply but when i open it, the latest mail doesnt show up there instead previous mail which i sent appears as if the reply never came. Please resolve this issue as i saw this problem is coming to many uaers. Honor 6.
Google, what are you guys doing to address these issue# listed by other users?!?!?!! My work email stopped syncing as well through out most of the day. Then randomly loads and then doesn't work again. Fix this asap. It's unacceptable that an app which is available for years has these types of issues on Stock Android OS!
This app used to work brilliantly until my new Android 8 software was installed yesterday. Now every time I open it I get a message asking me to allow notifications when I have turned this off in settings. it just comes up every time we open the in box and you have to close the message each time. Really annoying.
• You can now change your Google account settings (e.g. profile information, password, privacy settings, etc) under 'My Account' in Settings.
• An updated look for swipe actions in the inbox. Now when you swipe to archive an email, you can 'undo' at the bottom bar.
