I'd love to use this as my email app on my Pixel. Unfortunately, when I add my Exchange account, the app forces me to use a PIN to unlock phone (swipe pattern or fingerprint are not allowed) , even though my company's Exchange server requires no such thing. I've read in forums that this is an old bug that Google never bothered to fix and happens with any Exchange server regardless of their security policies. I will be using Blue Mail until Google fixes it.
Excellent and powerfull email client. Updated to 7.11, but what's new, from 6.11.27 (Preview documents, spreadsheets and presentations, even without the supporting app being installed on your device. Edit text in-line or copy and paste content from the w…) from 6.116 (You can now edit text in-line or copy and paste content from the web while keeping the original text formatting). I just got fed up with the fact that Google still hasn't figured out how to include links. I hung on for over a year waiting for you guys to correct this issue but nothing. No one wants to copy and paste. I moved over to Bluemail because the reviews are good and they actually have links that I can just tap. Bluemail seems to have gotten better while Gmail seems to be getting worse. Good by Gmail, won't miss ya!
Finally stopped crashing constantly! I was finally able to access device administrators on my Nexus 5 and disable Gmail as an administrator. This allowed me to restore Gmail to its factory version and then reinstall the latest update... And now after 3 months of endless crashes (even when using other apps), Gmail is working again thank the lord
Google strong arming us into using their services!!! Version 5.0 doesn't sync folders properly and doesn't have "select all" button! And I'm really pissed off by you only allowing push in Gmail accounts only! Google you did the same thing in your Google calendar app by only allowing 30 minute default appointments for your Gmail accounts only! Way to strong arm people into using your services! Let us choose which accounts we want to use! SMH
The latest update is actually quite annoying. Usually when I opened a URL the app would ask me to choose which browser I wanted to use, now it automatically opened the URL via this app. That's just inconvenience for me bcs I don't set anything as default app in my phone. Now I have to long press the link and do everything else manually. Why...
