I have used this app for years and it has worked perfectly! Since your last update on August 31st I am now unable to open the Google Assistant when my phone screen is locked even though everything is turned on properly! The only way for me to fix this is to erase all data off of the app and then it works fine. However, if I turn the phone off and then back on again I have to go through the same process of deleting all data again! They're now seems to be a glitch in your app! Most frustrating!

I've always been a hardcore Google supporter but the new search features have been extremely annoying. I'm an avid sports fan and a lot of times want to Google a team to get links with info, but if I Google for example "Boston College Football" all it shows is their most recent results and schedule. No links, which is why people "Google things". Let the users have the option to do what they want. I thought things like that were reserved for the "Google cards". Seperate the two features.

I don't see my recent searches under the search bar, all I see are "trending searches" and all the topics/sources its recommending me are not in my interest. I can't adjust it where I'm not interested as my only option is to just "hide". It's quite annoying not being able to see my recent searches under the search bar as this is also affecting me on YouTube. I've tried everything to fix it, doesn't work, my web & app activity is not paused. I have other accounts and they don't have this issue.
