Still Disappointed Lacks the ability to create auto playlists which is needed for a music manager/player. Shocked that this still hasn't been addressed in over the years. Normalization of volume is also missing. Navigation is a horrible mess. Have to go back over and over and over to get to the main menu after a search or anywhere else in the app for that matter. Also the addition of podcasts is great but it is lacking basic features. Variable speed?
Ok, not great. Interface is bit busy and confusing, least to me. And the program is somewhat laggy. I have a pretty late model phone(moto x pure) so i don't think phone it self is the culprit.
Only have problem with it When you do an instant mix with a song say a rock song 4 songs later having Madonna come on really messes up the ROCK mix. If i was trying an instant mix with other women like Mariah Carey I can understand but they have to do better with that.
Alright, only one issue now, I'm in love with it since it's now integrating with my music app equalizer settings. But why can't I move a track forward or backward across it's play time? Fix this.
Okay After all this time play music isn't yet the music app I desire. I don't mean that it's bad but it isn't that good either. I keep returning to it and then end up leaving it yet again for features in other music apps. Maybe it requires an overhaul or something that really makes users want to use it as their principal music app.
Update killed the app for me. After reading a few reviews, I'm not the only one that's having problems w/ Play Music. The latest update crashes from the start. I tried clear data, uninstall and reinstall, even on a different device it still crashes. I've already contacted Google support w/ no help. I also pay for the subscription b/c it's way better than Microsoft Groove. I'll update this review when/if this is fixed.
