I love google play music, but the latest update has broken media control from my bluetooth headphones, smart watch, and lock screen widgets when casting to chromecast. The only way to fix it is to force stop the app and clear the cache and then to not use my chromecast. I have tested youtube and other apps but it is only play music that has this issue. I am currently using an older version (7.0.4007.1.j) which works perfectly. Please fix!

I need a music player... Not a music store, not a radio, a music player! (Spotify, Pandora, iheartradio, and the countless others weren't enough?) VLC does everything you want it to, in a simpler easier way. It's crowd sourced and plays almost 100% of pirated materials... What can Google offer you accept more updates that wedge more advertising between you and YOUR media!?

Easy to use app.has a pretty good library to choose from.one can stream and/or listen offline.sound quality is in most cases exeptional. However, the library is pretty good,but not perfect.there are some segments that could require attention. The thing that dissapointed me is that after the latest update,all my playlists are gone,even the purchased songs.so since I was thinking about checking out other apps on the market,Ill delete it for now....but maby Ill come back to it.

Podcasts STILL no longer advance automatically, respond to swipes or the "next track" button. This is due to the fact that when you select an episode to listen to it generates a "playlist" of one instead of queueing up the feed. Additionally podcasts often "skip" forward several minutes. Most recent version no longer refreshes on its own and must be done manually in the settings. Samsung Galaxy S6.

Bad collection of music. The radios are in local languages only. No international playlists or radios available. Pretty useless app. Laggy UI on slow networks. Give us an option to uninstall. Do not waste your money on this. Sent from Hyderabad, India on my Nexus 5X running Android 7.1.2

Great potential wasted. Android auto is poorly executed. It does not allow for strictly album or artist selection except through voice commands. Often these vocal commands do not have any relationship to downloaded or subscribed albums. The app as a whole doesn't seem to trust the user to make decisions for themselves.

So used to work will. Not perfect but will. Always skipped when hooked up to my car's Bluetooth. Only app it happened with. Tried other music apps and no others did like this one did. Now it won't okay at all. I try to start the music and it just sits there.

I used to LOVE this app more than I do now.... But when I got a new phone and logged onto my account from my NEW phone somehow I LOST OVER 300 songs and can't get them back, If I want to listen to ALL THE SONGS I USED TO HAVE on my OLD PHONE then I have to use MY old phone to listen to them and it's THE SAME ACCOUNT.... How can I still have ALL OF MY SONGS on my old phone to STILL listen to but NOT on my new phone even tho it's the same friggin account?? Can someone PLEASE answer that question for me!!!!

Need to be able to separate my music "on my device" from the music I uploaded for Chromecast audio. It's showing both files and I don't know which one is which. It's annoying! When I'm using Chromecast audio with Google play music app.... Don't show the music stored on my device cause it won't play. Fix this please. I'm NOT going to delete the music from my device.

Purchased liar liar ge2017 and I cannot find it on my tablet. Paid money for this so why am I only able to hear it rather than see and be able to move around an mp3 file on my tablet? Reading solutions on Web search just have me going around in circles.

Kinda pissed because I download music that I PAID FOR and then I can't listen to it. If I'm going to pay for my music I want to be able to listen to it. I feel ripped off. Google has my money but I don't have my songs. You might as well not bother with this app and download a diffrent music player or else you will basically have your money stolen for a song that does not even work.

I love most everything about this app. Two things bug me. First, album art doesn't fit. After all this time, still can't make that happen? Two, a dark theme option would be nice. Save battery and eyes at night.

As a self confessed music junkie, I've tried pretty much all of the major music streaming services before settling on Google Music as my ultimate all-in-one, go-to music/audio listening app. I love the fact that one can seamlessly integrate 50,000 tracks from their own collection with Google's already extensive library of over 30 Million songs. I find the app to be extremely user friendly and consistently works perfectly everywhere I go. I love it and pretty much use the app all day, everyday.

Used the radio feature to discover new songs but the latest update has broken the skip button. Used to be able to press it about 5 times per station without a subscription, but now I press it once and it skips 5-20 songs in a row and it can't be stopped. Haven't had it affect my downloaded songs in my library. Also, there are way more of the unskippable 15 second video ads than before. Very annoying.

The App is Too Buggy now. It's responds too slow now with the latest update indeed my phone has 3GB of Ram. I don't know what has Happen. Once was a very good App. Now becoming Buggy and slow to respond indeed of Moto's Stock Android installed Phones. Google have a look into this.

The UI is kinda clunky, it can take long to find what you're looking for. Also, please put the equalizer settings somewhere else that's not buried deep in the app settings. I at least would like something more accessible as I listen to a variety of styles and like to tweak settings often.

This app is horrible, i hate that i have to click on my library to listen to my music, i just tried to delete a song 7 times while i was listening to it and it never deleted. If only this app was more focused on the users oersonal library instead of trying to leech its users into oaying for unnecessary features then it just might be decent.

This app works as a great way to play music from your computer, but the computer side of things doesn't always work (which means this app won't always contain the newest version of playlists, for example). Other than that, the app works fairly well.

Please please PLEASE google. Do not mix music genres! I dislike that so much. I don't want to mix my regional Mexican music with my r&b. Especially if i exclusively pick that genre. I love my music. Just please don't mix one with another. That's what I loved about this app. It might come down to just disabling this app

Ironically, Youtube music has better algorithms than this app. And if you dislike a song...it says "screw you... I'm playing it anyway." The tracks aren't true to their corresponding albums so you may or may not get the version you're looking for.

The last update or update before broke something with android auto, I had to reinstall (tried android auto first to no avail). Now for another download of 80GB+ of music, which btw I just did because I bought an S8+ and couldn't transfer my library between phones. Oversights or annoying DRM? However great app, great subscription price and great selection of music. Usually pleased with the App but not happy right now.

The Ui/UX is awful, over saturated colors and it takes 5+ taps to get to anything and some features I used are gone. The only good thing about this app is the music selection is better than other services I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship. Also the logo looks like a Doritos chip.

The song does not get del. The song which is playing after going back to the work or leave this app while playing song in the background and when i re-open the app the song which is not playing shows. It shows that another song is playing or stopped

This is my everyday music playing/streaming app. I've been using it for a few years as a subscriber and can't say enough about it to people. Mostly I try to use applications made by Google, so everything stays in one place. I've not experienced many bugs at all on my s7 or even in the past on other devices.. sometimes I get the "Music not Available" error but it's fee and far between, and doesn't last long. 5 Stars. Recommend.

Individual albums etc is great but you can't really find any actual albums except google's pick. Seems likevyou have to search for every individual song instead of searching and listening to a whole album... I am also not happy with the so called family friendly / kids station /playlists - who makes these up snd just when did swearing make it in to supposed Clean versions? No where to report it either. I can't justify a monthly subscription on something so cumbersome (no albums) nor uncontrolled "clean version lists"

Love all the radio features, streaming unlimited music, and even my music from the cloud. Great song selection, and multiple ways to sort your collection and listen. But, terrible UI, dated and old, desperately needs update. It's overly complicated and slow, now. Plus, you don't even see the entire album art in music player, it's zoomed in to about the center third of it, which looks stupid. Needs dark mode. **All this Google Assistant tracking and datamining, we should get a discount on our subscription. **UPDATE THE UI ALREADY, DAMN** Google needs to terminate all their app development teams and hire new, more efficient and creative team members. Stop spending so much time and money on an invasive assistant that no one wants/uses... Update the music app UI, and add dark mode. Users have been requesting a better, more functional UI for years... This is getting ridiculous.

Best music app I could ask for. I tried Spotify for about a year and became so fed up with not listening to what I want I switched. I love uploading my own music and hearing songs that aren't available on any other app and free downloading my own music is the icing on the cake.

Really buggy, lag problems with Bluetooth and program slows to an infuriating crawl when downloading anything. Love it as a library manager but hate playing music with Play.

Play Music no longer works in my car when using Android Auto. I only get a mess that says "Google Play doesn't seem to working right now." I have to reboot the phone every time I get in the car if I want to listen to to music.

I use it every day during my commute. Mostly I like it (GUI, playlist, etc), however in locations with bad internet it gets really hard to use. It constantly tries to connect to Google servers, so it's impossible to use it, even to playback locally stored songs. Switching to "downloaded only" mode in this case happens very slowly - it's easier and faster to turn airplane mode on or force close the app.

Great app but so buggy, rotate the screen and expect severe delays, move the music forward and expect an error message and the music to stop, expect terrible delays when navigating menus, it's such a shame because I really like this app, but I'm running out of patience with it as these bugs have gone on since I've been using the app

Two stars for Google in general, come on bug fixes. Really I don't see no bugs, just a campaign to waste more data and time. Really when was the last time your apps did what they were supposed to, here's Googles apps stop-go buff- then stop again, overheat the phone, etc. That is all I see, the one app I use to like ,the maps guess what that has not ran right in ages, 4 updates ago. Here one, trash the apps and go back to the original formula. All these updates don't do nothing except for make you guys money

Keeps rebuilding the notification every time a new song comes on. Makes it very hard to switch songs without going into the app. Furthermore media controls don't work from a headset or Android Wear device. Basically everything that makes this more than a basic audio player is broken.
