Ratings and reviews

The app has improved a lot over the years. It's my go-to music app now, and I dig the new features. The discovery thing is dope, especially when I'm not sure what to listen to. It's cool that your YouTube playlists sync with YouTube Music, so you can jam to your tunes on both apps. And the music/video toggle is sick, you can watch music videos right in the app. The sound quality is decent, but I wish they had lossless audio playback and 16/24-bit high fidelity audio streaming and download.

Honestly, other than the "weird" song recommendations, it's pretty good. It has an actually bearable free version that you don't get with other apps, especially with the free two week premium that you get without putting in your card. There is one specific thing I dislike, and that is that you have to shuffle play your entire playlist randomly. What I mean by that is that, on Spotify, you can click the three dots next to a song and shuffle play with that song first, but YT Music doesn't let you.

You wanna listen to the same 20ish songs on repeat every time you start the app then your in luck! Wanna have an awful podcast experience, look no further. This app tries to do to many things and fails at all of them. It's sad to see considering all the other apps that they shut down worked perfectly. Why did you get rid of the queue? It was nice to have a list of the songs playing that you can add and move around!
