I wish Google's messaging ideas weren't so fragmented. I thought the idea of HO was awesome when it was announced before launch. Now it seems like another product that is inevitably going to be abandoned at some point. It's a shame. I keep hoping there is going to be some kind of glimpse of hope for Hangouts long term survival.
I love this app, it's great for contacting friends who don't have a phone number, but do have an email address. And if everyone you know doesn't use it, but it's the only way to contact some your friends, just help them set it up. I helped one of my friends so that my bffl and me and her could talk
So hard to use. Multiple steps and hidden menu to simply delete your SMS messages. Google intentionally makes it difficult and complicated so they can continue to scan your personal content and messages. Too many issues with mms picture messaging. Doesn't integrate well and should not replace your SMS app.
Consolidate your messaging apps. I understand people have different uses but that's why you have settings. It doesn't make sense to add cool new features to one messaging app while the other 5 don't get that feature. Just do it one place!
Hey what is this new update doing with my app. It just took away my contact list and I couldn't find it anywhere. Where can I find my contacts list for new conversation. Why putting us in trouble with update
It's quite good but really just another chat app. That said because its integrated into android its pretty useful. I just wish google's messaging strategy want such a mess of throw it against a wall and see what sticks.
