Buy or rent new releases and old favourites directly in the app. Purchases are stored in your library and can be downloaded to watch when you're not connected. Watch instantly on your laptop, Android phone or tablet, or on your TV with Google TV or on Play Movies & TV where available.
One list for all your discoveries
Add interesting shows and movies to your watchlist to keep track of your new discoveries and view them later. The watchlist is shared between all your devices, so you can even add to your watchlist from your TV or phone and laptop through Search on any browser.

Ratings and reviews

Absolutely appalling app. I can no longer watch movies or TV shows that I've downloaded. The zoom function has not worked in more than a year. I've spent an awful lot of money on movies and shows. Google were very happy to take my money. They show zero interest in supporting after they've taken your money. Very fed up with the constant "our team is working on a resolution" soundbites the support keep spouting when nothing changes.

You've wrecked this app. Google Movies was fine and worked well, but Google TV seems to struggle with casting, a protocol your own engineers originated, and the UI is now cluttered and frustrating. I won't be buying any more media through from Google. The main advantage used to be reliability and ease of use with Chromecast but now those advantages are long gone. Amazing how you are destroying your own software.

Latest update has rendered it useless. Some seasons that I've bought are not showing at all and others are now saying unavailable in my country (UK) when I've bought it and watched it many times before. Movies seem to download ok but some things I don't have the option to download, only to stream. This applies to both phone and tablets.
