All current issues are software related, and three months of updates have only made daydream and is Google apps worse. Months of jumpy cursor issues. Will increase stars as updates to software come for 3rd party peripherals (glove and hepatic suit)
And what am I supposed to do with this? Less than 10 minutes into a movie and it overheats the phone (Pixel XL, the *flagship* Google product). Not to mention it tears through battery, a phone that normally lasts me 16 hours is going to be dead in 1. The spherical aberration of the lenses is so bad I can only see the middle 2/3 of the image. This is a gimmick usable for 5 minutes, nothing more.
Absolutely love it. Kids are harder to impress & they dig it too. Personally I don't think Samsung has better VR but I guess some people do. If say only issue is how HOT the phone gets. But it's relatively new so I'm sure it's only gonna get better. ZERO crashes or problems
The app would not progress past the add a payment method button during setup, and crashes immediately. I had uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. After logging into a different Gmail account and installing again, the app progressed past the payment stage.
One of the coolest things I've ever seen being used for the purpose of entertainment. It isn't perfect, but I give it 5/5 because it was already really interesting, yet constant updates continue to improve content and fix problems.
The app has improved the connection with the remote a lot and it's now a seamless transition into VR, making it a much better experience to use.
