Latest 9/8 update screwed up connection to ZenWatch 2 UPDATE: After a few days and restarts of the watch it seems to be settled down and the disconnects stopped. ORIGINAL: ZenWatch 2 keeps disconnecting on a regular basis even though the watch is on my left wrist and the phone is in my left pocket. Touching the notification on my Nexus 6 reconnects right away.
Attention!!!! If your watch no longer connects or stopped getting notifications like mine has delete Android Wear and side load the version before this one. All of your headache with this latest update will be gone. Once I did that it was like magic and everything started working again. Sucks Google isn't quick to address this issue 😕
After updates, app wont recognize watch after the recent update, the app wont recognize my phone. Did a restart on both device, unpaired and re-paired both device. I did a reset from my smartwatch 3, uninstalled and reinstalled apps, and all failed. I did tried to pair with another phone android 6.0 , and it is able to. I am currently using HTC one e9plus and for some reason, the developer of this phone failed to deliver android 6.0. My question here is,could you guys have an app or revert back the apps for htc users?
No connection I've had this app for months (since at least march) and no problems happened until the latest update. My watch won't connect to anything and now I can't even use it as a "smart watch". Just a fancy expensive digital one. The app shows nothing in it even though I've downloaded apps for my watch already and there's no connection for the phone to watch. Horrible connection problems
Not Connecting Did the factory reset, everything to get my watch to work that Google recommended but ever since about a week ago my Moto 360 watch has not been able to connect to my phone. Not sure what they did but my smart watch is useless now. I hit connect in the app and it does nothing, it just shows a screen that is unresponsive. Useless
Won't connect This is not a user friendly app, amongst the worst I've experienced to be honest. My ZenWatch only connected after I installed the Asus app and my Sony SW3 connects and pairs but shows no notifications. I've also noticed that if I'm wearing one watch and exercise activities done while wearing one watch don't sync so that when I wear another they show cumulatively through Google fit. By far the worst Google app I've ever experienced.
