New version does not allow loading of existing or new wachfaces. I have spent hours resetting both the watch over and over again and my phone too. I have to give up. Unacceptable... Update: Google 2nd level support told me to contact Samsung (phone) or LG (watch). Neither of course has support. In addition I no longer get sms notifications? Any way to get back to 1.0?
AW 2.0 broke one handed operation. Both the in/out gestures were removed AND worst of all it forces you to click send on a reply. No longer can I use while driving or running as it would require me to take hands off wheel or stop and put down water bottle. Please enable auto-send or a "send"/ok gesture!
The update completely changed the user interface. Instead of swiping to get the apps, you need to press the button now. Swiping allows you to change the watch face. Thanks, as if I want to do this all the time! Everything appears so much more complicated. A pain to get the installed Wear apps back onto the watch. Took .e long time to figure this out how to do this. Also needs a google account now :-( The watch is so difficult to use now, I wish this update would not have come.
So everything was working just fine but aftwr the update...I wasn't able to change songs on my phone LG V10 and notifications where not showing up all the time. I thought that reseting the watch to factory settings would help...so i did the pairing once again...still not able to do a thing. I read here that it is advised to reset the phone too...i got lucky.....but this is unacceptable.
Android wear 2.0 worked OK for a couple of days, although the notifications now take 3 actions to get rid of instead of one, however it now appears to have lost every watch face, and the ability to choose any faces (not an option on the settings screen or swipe). Huawei w1 has connected to my phone, but is stuck on 'checking for updates', although it is up to date. Can't set a face as there are none on Wear or watch.
Can I go back? 'OK Google' Voice control doesn't work in favor of using the button? If my hands were free to push the button on my watch I'd use my phone. If you do get the Google assistant it's so slow vs before that it turns off before it shows its ready to listen. Also dealing with connection problems everyday, acts like its the first time pairing. So frustrating.
