If you opt in to the Gemini app, it will replace your Google Assistant as the primary assistant on your watch. Some Google Assistant voice features aren't available through the Gemini app yet. You can switch back to Google Assistant in settings.

Ratings and reviews

Having this on my wrist feels like living in the future. It's great for setting alarms, timers, adding tasks, taking notes, and asking questions. It uses the same voice and personality that's in the app on my phone. My only real hope for a future update is that it gains the ability to remember past chats.

It's getting better for continued conversations, although it no longer has the ability for phone actions when I prompt on my Watch 8 Classic such as toggling wifi let alone checking the battery level of my phone, and the same thing is true for Gemini For Home devices. Good luck everybody.

It works well but I find it very unreliable especially for where OS just can't connect to Google's servers well so I just find it loading and taking forever and then when it finally loads it says Gemini is currently unavailable please fix this
