Ratings and reviews

Ads are frequently uncomfortably loud, and they should match the volume of the underlying video for which they play (though this is a problem with YouTube generally, not just the app). Someone updated the video settings menu, finally making it a *good* UI, which I am very pleased about. The app still crashes from time to time, but much less frequently than it used to, and it is definitely more stable now.

Needs better moderation, like WAY better. Then also when you have the video playing on the screen while doing something, (not sure what it's called), you can't skip ads. It becomes annoying when you literally can't go to a different tab while playing a game otherwise you get kicked out. Now, you USED to be able to skip the ads but now that's gone (like I said). I've seen more reviews from September just after the premium price increase. After the price increase the app crashes more in the last 10ish days than it did in the previous 12 months. I can set a queue of videos to watch/listen to. Get thru a few videos and have ot stops playing the queue. Yes auto play is turned on and video quality is set to recommended. The only thing that fixes this issue is clearing the cache and data, which I'm about to do for the 4th time in the same number of days.
