It can IDENTIFY most images, if that's ALL you want, but USING the results to search for the item online is a NIGHTMARE that takes you through a series of screens in which clicking on anything takes you nowhere useful, yet still keeps you trapped within the app. Want to find it on Amazon or Google? Impossible. For best results, just type the name manually in a separate browser. Let the goofy ladies responsible for developing Lens, continue their little experiment on their own time; not mine.

I think this is about the coolest app! I use it all the time (work, shopping, diggling, etc). Sometimes my ability to take a proper picture limits it's usefulness, but generally it looks at a pic I have taken, and looks up websites with similar pics. Great if you continually run into items you cannot identify or cannot price. --for identifying items, you may have to take se real pics from different angles. Maybe developement could add a question bar? To help limit the search function.

It's great to have a resource I can depend on and Google Lens is one of the best. I use it to research items in various collections I have and it delivers! It's user friendly and accurate, with quick results that are concise and easy to understand. Sometimes there are also pleasant little surprises along the way. Tonight it took me to a gem auction ad after I put in a pic of a rock I thought was a common agate. Lens showed me it may very well be a common OPAL!! Well done, Google! Thank you!
